ESTELLE PETITT
Estelle is a retired minister, who took up painting as she approached retirement. She is largely self-taught, although she has taken lessons from various art teachers in the Denver area.
Estelle is inspired by the colors and shapes found in nature, and has sought to capture the life and delight experienced in everyday things.
Recently she has been experimenting with the process of abstracting the colors and patterns of nature to a further degree. She paints in watercolor, pastel, and acrylic, and also dabbles in photography.
